I'd be surprised if you safely could. I have a 1995 PS190 ... not much wake to speak of. I don't think I'd want to weight it down that much. That usage was not envisioned when designed. S

I don't think that hooking it up to 12v only will advance the meter. It probably needs a Tach signal to advance. I called the manufacturer of mine and asked for the signal spec. Then hooked it up...
