Well, after further review, it sure looks like the oil leak is coming from the rear main seal. I wonder if I couldn't prop up the engine and take on this project myself? It could be a fun winter...

I've read the other possibility of the LT1 leaking oil could be a leak on the intake towards the back. If that is the case, I imagine the engine wouldn't need to be removed? And an intake repair...
