Never done this, but I would think you don't want to support the engine weight from anything other than the stringers. I would NOT support from the hull directly below the engine.

I tried heat and PB blaster and under pressure with the puller tonight. No success yet. Will keep the PB blaster happening and puller on it hoping it just takes time.

What's on them now? Not sure I've ever seen rubber before. Where would you get that? I'd go carpet for looks and protection. It's cheap and easy. I did my trailer bunks last year - 4 of them.

I just made this cheap easy tool for removing those nuts. The bolt goes in a hole on the coupler and you hold it from moving. Mine was so tough I had to use a small cheater bar to get enough leverage...

Fixed Windshield hinge

Not sure if others have this problem or not, but fixed that pesky windshield hinge pin that always slides out the bottom and has to be pushed back. I drilled a small hole and put a short screw in.

So I got this started yesterday and having issues getting the coupler off the shaft (surprise, surprise :rolleyes:). At least 3 years ago the PO told me he had bent the shaft and had replaced it so...
