That's the nice thing about Gen 2 in a tanker - you don't need the 500 tons of fat sacs to lean it over to the rub strip to get a good wave.

This guy, on the other hand, is old school.

Yes, I always have. I'm thinking I should monitor bus voltage and see if there is a relationship between voltage drop on startup and failure of the speedo... Except it doesn't fail that frequently

Wow- impressive that you have that. I've checked with my dealer, and that bulletin fixes a wiring issue that allowed the radio to drain the battery even if the key was off. It's not the problem...
