The way I read it he left out the part about replacing his gauges with analog ones. As far as I know there is no way to drive the digital Medallion gauges directly via an analog signal.

The two fill pumps are in a very tight location under the gas tank with bad access. A different aerator pump with different fittings will require more work...

Over the winter one of the ballast fill pumps in my X9 cracked.

I removed the other, easier to get to fill pump to get the model number off - see photo.
I am having a hard time locating the same...

I would try purple loctite. Easier to remove than blue. It works well on my 2 stroke stand up jet skis where everything likes to rattle apart.

The current Deka batteries in my X9 are at least 5 years old (came with boat), have survived several complete drainings and seem to be doing great.

Because of the bypass through the manifolds and out the exhaust the engine will not be subjected to the full pressure of the garden hose. Also, the raw water pump should be a good flow restriction...

Our lake here in GA flucuates all year and there are unmarked obstacles that may come in to play even when the lake is still 80% full. I would hate for the lake to be closed...
