Exactly! A shallow trailer will do WAY less damage than a trailer in too deep and like everyone has said, slow on and let it settle before powering on.

Your biggest obstacle is going to be if the carriage bolts spin freely. If they do, you need to figure a way to hold them while you back off the nut. The rest is pretty easy.
