I looked at a 351 Indmar balancer in my parts collection. The FORD number on it is C90E-E1.

Ford book tells me this was a stock 1969 351W balancer

This was used for a long, long time on the marine...

Do you have the distributors from both engines. If you do, look at the drive gears and see if the teeth slant in the same direction.

A LH normal rotation engine has gears that slant like this /////...

Not to be picky, but those kind of nasty looking things are clutch plates and clutch pressure plates.

I'd figure he'll be replacing the clutch plates, and the pressure plates should clean up...
