I am the OP. It took the boat out again today and the engine water temp stayed at 160F regardless of ballast tank fill or empty. It appears that the thermostat was sticking in the open position but...

Thermostat DIY?

I tried searching this forum but no luck. My X1 runs about 140F water temp on the lake (the lake is ~ 80F). I think this is on the cool side. When I fill the water tanks, my water temp goes up...

Prop recommendations please

I have a 2006 X1 that we use mainly for wakeboarding but also do some waterskiing. The problem is with 6 people in the boat, pulling up a slalom skier is not as quick as I'd like it. With a full...

First post Hello

I'm a new Mastercraft owner. I've been skiing and wake boarding for many years. I finally pulled the trigger on a 2006 X1. I thought that Mastercraft were over priced but I finally understand. ...
