I have one for a 91-94. It's red. I may be selling the boat soon, if I find a replacement 197, so I may want to keep it for the resale, but you can make me an offer.

I love my 94. I think the concerns about the spray are way overblown. I ski into 35. Maybe if you're regularly into 39 it could be a problem, but not for longer. That said, if you're skiing into...

Hey, is this my buddy Phil's old boat? Are you the one who drove out to Northern California to buy it? I think it's the twin of mine. It's a beautiful boat.

We couldn't get out this weekend. The ramps, and the roads leading to them, were under water. I'm not sure if it has crested yet. The lake was supposed to get two more feet yesterday. I'm hoping...

Thanks, guys.

I've driven a lot of sets with the 06, and it tracks really well. I'm surprised that there's a significant difference with the 03. Andre, does the 03 you drive have tension on the...

Ski-ability differences 2003 vs. 2006 197

I've skied many course hours behind my friend's 2006 197. I'm looking at a 2003. Are there any differences between the two. From reading histories, it looks like the hull should be the same. I...

I've run ethanol in my LT1 for the last 10 years. It's really been my only option. I haven't had a single fuel-related problem. I do run it very frequently, though, and I stabilize it over the...

Drill your own LT1 thermostat?

After 10 years of ordering the drilled 160 degree upper thermostat for my LT1, I'm wondering if I can just buy the automotive and drill it myself. Has anyone done it? Any problems with it?

Thanks...

Love the 94, but the PT boats did not have a spray pocket mod. My buddy had one. The spray pockets were identical to my 94. I was hoping to see a spray mod to try to imitate it, but, no dice.

Well, it's better, but not quite solved. I tested the fuel pressure at prime, idle, WOT, and for a leak down. It's all perfect. I checked my temp sending unit, and it's fine. I realized there was...

I'm changing out my water pump on my '94 LT1. I can't get the coolant temp sensor out of the old pump. I guess after 19 years, I could use a new sensor.

Discount Inboard Marine has the sensor,...

I wonder if that boat has weight balance issues or a strange prop or something. On my 94 190, it has to be a really strong headwind (like 18-20 mph) and almost not worth skiing to get spray at 28. ...
