For anyone looking at this, just so you know, Wakeboard Pro can be set up to run in 3 event mode and works for Slalom as well. Its a simple configuration after install and you will be all set.

I had the same issue and just went up one size in the diameter of the screw. It has been 2 seasons since I did that and the binding is still holding up.
