What color? Mine is black - got the DuPont paint code from MC. A little primer and rattle can of the custom color from the local auto paint supply shop and I was good to go.

Correct, but you'd have to be sure to cover them both. Or just blow into the drain ports. If you can blow into them then the check valves are bad.

Manufacturer was MasterCraft. It was the Reliable brand parts they used that were the problem. Swap out those parts for UFP/Kodiak and you should be good to go.
