Bad news, absolutely no drain hose. Probably because this is a Jasper replacement engine, took it to a marina....just going to pay them to do it!

I have not noticed the tube at the bottom. Do I pump through the tube or stick the tube through the bilge hole and let 'er drain? Also, how many quarts does this engine take? I am guessing 5??

Thanks all, great debate and from the differing opinions seems like I will be safe with mobil1 or rotella....the engine only has about 6 hours on it and it was a Jasper crate engine for those...

OK, as I was investigating my leaky heater core issue, I found that none of the ducts under the bow of my (new to me) 1999 Prostar are hooked up. I think they have just fallen off the inlet openings...

This may make sense, I bought my boat in Georgia with a brand new LT-1 because the old one was not winterized. I would bet a million bucks the speedo's wern't either. My port side speedo doesn't work...
