Personally I'd wire a perko switch in that isolates everything apart from the bilge pump. Then switch the bilge bump to auto whilst you are away from the boat.

2nd generation xstar is based on the 205v hull (1st generation being the direct drive 205). The different tower configurations will determine the height do you'll need to be specific about model year.

Purple just switches the MDC on and off, red is the power to it. In my experience anything below 13v and the MDC does crazy stuff.
