The guys at skidim.com narrowed it down for me based off of a carb rebuild kit. The HO supposedly had a different carb setup than the 390hp.

I unscrewed the hinges, leg pressed the motor box...

I unscrewed the hinges, leg pressed the motor box against the pylon, and reattached the hinges. This got me the clearance I needed. No more scraping.

Stihl saws are hard to beat. However, I opted for a Husqvarna with a 20" bar. It is a 450 or 455 Rancher. I don't have any complaints.
