Thanks for the tip. Tried it today. It appears the trick was in loading the front foot. It was hard for me to grasp on this notion before as I thought that I was doing it. Then, somebody in the boat...

Those were my thoughts. It should be enough wake (in my setup standard ballast plus 1,000 lb on 06' X2) to get going. That why I thought maybe it could be the swim platform interference. I wonder...

Yes, I was thinking that it should be enough wait for to get me started. You mean my hips should be perpendicular with the wake? Do I need to try toe edging on the board? It seems to me I tried all...

Can swim platform interfere with wake for surfing?

Trying to figure out the wake setup on my X2 06'. It seems no matter what I do the wake is short and foamy. I'm thinking whether it could be the swim platform breaking the wake

A setup I initially...

Resolution to the issue

The issue was the pump indeed. It was showing intermittent pressure not more then 20 PSI. Sometimes the pump didn't run at all.

I got a replacement part from CarQuest part # 69125 (see attachments)....

Wow, that post is really in-depth. So, I should buy a pump and a removable clamp from a MC dealer, not an automotive store? Anything else should be replaced with replacement of WP?

Fuel filter

It hasn't been changed at least for two seasons or more. Where is the filter located? Is it an automotive fuel filter?

Water in fuel?

My boat wouldn't run on idle or low RPM. I have to wait for 5-10 min to be able to star it again. It runs with interruption (every 10-15 sec) on 2,500 - 3,000 RPM plus it is not running on full power...

I completely forgot that there is a shot-off intake valve that I closed while winterizing. Lost only one blade from my new impeller trying to figure that out.

Will post an update on my progress tomorrow. I heard it's in essence a Chevy engine. Does it mean I can get the impeller from a Chevy dealer or I should go to MC dealer?
