I always disconnect the cable from the tiller arm when doing the greasing. This way, the rudder can be rotated almost 360 degrees, which really helps distribute the grease.

If you haven't found anything, I do have a rudder, but it's off a Brendella. There are no markings on it, other than a Brendella stamp. It has a 1" shaft and is 11.5" deep and 8" wide.
