You may never been stranded but how many oil leaks will you have after 150K miles? Most people just trade their Tundras because they just want a new one to upgrade. Usually nothing broke.

Again, if I’m going to spend $40+K, I go where the quality is regardles of where the money ends up. Nothing is perfect but at least most of the time if you buy a Tundra it is relatively trouble free....

Between oil leaks, transmission issues, bad motor mounts....done. Not paying $40K plus for that. Also, they cant/won’t fix. Sometimes under warranty.

Love my Trundra, may use more gas, but virtually trouble free. After 14 years of owning, the only thing besides regular maintenance, my CV boots went bad. Other than that very solid. Runs like new.

I have an 04 Tundra with 50K miles. Pulls Prostar great. Very reliable with normal wear due to age. Very solid truck.

My 1987 MC 190 had a carb. It seemed to run different when hot or cold weather. If you know how to make adjustments, you were okay. I did not know how. My 1996 is EFI would not go back to a carb.

Change oil and filter every 50 hours or yearly. Otherwise waste of time and money. That is what the dealership told me when I bought my 1996 MC 190.
