There are cotter pins on the back of the linkage...

There are cotter pins on the back of the linkage where the cables connect. Remove those and then the cables can be removed from the throttle.

paco stated his boat has the slot. The 541 ( 13 x 12 ) would not work on his boat. The 14 x 18 is the correct prop for his boat.

I changed my prop to cnc on my 86 slot and it was a huge difference.

Check your foam. I did my 86 this spring and the foam was trashed. mine was a little over 2000 for installed skins and new foam.

Are you are just restriping the hull?

The 3m wrap is pretty easy to work with. Look up knifeless tape, works...

On my 86 I zip it in the boot, wrap a towel around it and rest it on the doghouse. I have traveled this way for years with no problems.

The rudder on my 86 is similar. Never been stored in the water. I had one bad pit, maybe a casting defect. I filled it with marine-tex couple seasons ago. Seems to be holding fine.

I run a four blade acme on my 86 slot. My top speed is 44 on my gps speedo. Not exactly sure about rpms. My old tach read 4700 rpm and my new one reads 4900 with no changes to the engine.
