i think a scan tool would go a long way... theres a lot of threads on here about rough running, poor idle, hard starting, etc that could easily be traced to a specific bad sensor or something wiring...

we went from a '94 190 to a '04 x9 and the ski wake definitely isnt the same on the 209/x9. never been behind a 214/x14 but ive heard its much better....
