Looks like the only option to put weight up front is to put a sack on the floor. Hopefully that will work, we bought a second 800lb sack today.

I may go with a Samson Surf/Surf rack. Sounds like they can make it fit the holes in the mounting plate on the New Dimension tower, or I'll just go with the 1 7/8" bracket. Either way, $285.

Interestingly, on my way to turn my 7-8 year old Optima batteries in for new ones, I had them tested at an AutoZone. 780 CCA when rated at 800. Looks like they are good for one more year!
