Except a larger HLCD like the 10" Rev-10 and Kicker KMT11 are the exception. Also worth noting the retired Wet Sounds Pro-485 and current Rev-410. Though not pro-axial HLCD, they are an HLCD setup.

Leaving the main switch, leaves the boat powered up. Any parasitic draws can keep the charger out if its float/idle mode. This is rough on a charger and batteries.

If the boat has 3 pair of in-boats, my choice would be a pair of Wet Sounds HTX-6. One for the in-boats, 2nd for woofer and tower speakers.

If there is only 2 pair of in-boats, I go with 1 HTX-6...
