Did you buy the S&S in Petaluma that was on CL? Did you find out why the PO cut the platform that way? There are a few companies that make platforms. I think this is one that members here have...

This style would probably work, but I think you would have to find a used one. The MC pylon diameter is 2 1/2 inches.

I was able to file the sides of that metal piece...

I was able to file the sides of that metal piece and sharpen up the edges so that it worked again.

I had the same problem with the dash on my '89. I used roofing washers with a coat of black spray paint.

Good point. They did start showing up just about the time the insulation did. It also coincides with the switch to Indmar engines.

I think MC introduced the newer deck and squared windshield as a "deluxe" model in the early 80's. So, there are both rounded and squared models in those years. '83 is all squared.

I think MC had both the rounded and three piece squared windshield in '82. I think the deluxe models had the squared version which was carried over to the '83 -'86 skiers.
