Actually I was afraid to do it myself so I hired a gent that works on boats to simply wet sand the red. He did an excellent job and didnt even remove the silver stripe decals that seperate the color...

As far as I know, all 87s came with the Indmar 351. The option to that engine was the powerslot transmission.
