We had a hard freeze a few yrs ago where the temps were below freezing 24 hours. Very unusual. Lots of reports of cracked blocks as many do not drain their blocks for some reason.

Yep, i had rust seeping thru the sectioned part a quarter the way down. Hard for me to talk myself into reusing any of the wiring to save 85 bucks. The new part appears placticized on the exterior....
