Pump could have failed or the fuel pump relay might have gone out. Best to see if you are getting power at the plug that connects to the in tank pump and go from there.

Guage in dash isnt very accurate so wouldn't go by that as gospel as could be off 5 psi high or low. If alarm isnt sounding you will be fine as it goes off if pressure drops under 4psi.

If key was out and it's not slipping anymore it is probably galled on the shaft now (SS can do that). Hopefully you won't ever have to remove it as you might have to cut the shaft up to get it out.
