Would this starter fit in a 2000 5.7 TBI?

Morning all,

Does this look to be a starter from a 5.7 Chevy block? The owner doesn't have any model numbers, details etc over and above it was for his '94 Mastercraft with Chevy.

I'm not aware of...

I have the low rpm ball bearing noise, however haven't changed the oil over to 15/40 yet, a winter layup job.

I used a carbide dremel bit doing some similar work on my boat. Search my posts and you should find it. The dremel opened it up to a nice U shape, made repair very easy....
