Perhaps all the fluid just overtook the seal and it leaked from sitting? I would clean it up, top off transmission with fluid and water test for leaks. Sometimes seals do some odd things.

I doubt you actually had any voltage issues on the engine and engine harness, I didn't all my problems were under the dash.

I personally won't run Petronix, I've heard way to many problems...

100 hp out of p- heads and a performer intake with no other changes not likely, 40 ish hp is more likely... What you will have is an engine that works easier, has better fuel economy and smoother...
