Wake works tower

Has anyone had a wake works tower? It is supposedly the same as the aerial airborne tower and made in the same "factory". I haven't heard any good things about aerial. It's $1095 w/ free shipping. I can get a Roswell area 51 for $1000 from the local dealer, either one will be installed by them anyhow on a 1999 Maristar 205VRS.

Yep, same tower. If you buy 5 you can sell them with your name on them too.

I have the aerial airborne:

I'm happy with the overall look and function. It has not held up well against corrosion though. I'm not in salt or brackish water either. I didn't get the anodized and I probably should have. It requires year round maintenance if you don't want pitting and an overall gray look.

Do you get a lot of vibration, movement, sway etc.?

No. I'm sure there's measurable flex but it's not visible or audible. It's very stable.

Good looking boat! Thanks Jeff d, where are you located in the SE? I'm at mountain isle lake in Charlotte NC.

Louisiana.

FWIW, I wouldn't go so far as saying that I regret what I bought but I probably would save my money and go with a non-universal tower if I was doing it again.

You'll get better resale and many people would say better styling out of a New Dimension tower but you certainly won't get it that cheap. I would also wonder if the materials, tube thickness and welding is going to be typical China quality. Could end up being the most expensive cheap tower you'll ever buy.

I bought the big air tower. I liked it at first but requires a lot of maintenance and fine tuning. I liked the fact that I did not have to buy a bimini for the tower since the stock still fits. if you plan to add speakers then the setup is a pain in the rear. I've attached a picture. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/07/08/ava4ana7.jpg
