1986 Mastercraft Skier

I have owned this boat since Sept. 2011. Have put about 275 hours on it. Has I believe about 850 hours on it now. Had interior replaced prior to me purchasing the boat. Carpet is also in great shape. I believe it must have also been replaced in the last 10 years. Exterior is in Good shape but not anything to rave about. I think if someone were to replace the decals it would be a lot better looking. I believe just to purchase the decals is $ 700-$800. I used the boat only on Fresh water. Primarily on Lake Okeeheelee in West Palm Beach. Previous owners lived in Orlando and I do not think that this boat was ever in salt water. Trailer is in good shape and also shows no sign of Salt water. Bearings replaced on trailer recently along with new tires in the last 2 years. Not may miles on them as boat is less than 3 miles to the lake. Upgraded to a 1990 Mastercraft. Not sure if it was an upgrade but the 1990 looks newer anyway.

I have had no issues with this boat. Runs great. Idles great. Ready to ski.

Did you leave the Perfect Pass in the 86' or did you transfer it to the 90'? I remember driving for you last year at Okee, great running boat.

I moved it to the 1990

Just an FYI that the hull on the 86 and 90 are the same. The top deck was changed to the 'new' style 87-90 but running surface was same 86-90.

Thanks. That is what I also believed but seems a lot of people have told me there was a change. I myself see no visible difference other than the top as you say. The 1990 has the powerslot and the 86 has 1:1. I have noticed that when driving the 1990 boat without anyone else in the other seat that the 1990 boat needs weight in the boat on the other side to make it level. The 86 seems to be level or at least a lot closer to level with just the driver. I wonder if the powerslot drive train makes that difference?

Thanks Gary.

Still Available.

I skied behind a 90 with a slot and it needed weight to level it out also. The bigger prop must torque the entire boat is my best guess. Had to be careful when pulling people up, it was very powerful.

This boat is Still available. I will likely be Towing it to Lake Chatuge In Ga. NC. for the week of July 4-12 and using it while there. So if anyone in that area is interested in buying a boat you can check it out.
