I have changed over to the newer design. Nothing to write home about but theoretically, they should (and do to some degree) eliminate sticks and leaves that can clog the OEM pitot. I don't regret buying but I still carry a paper clip and a roto tool on my keychain. However since I installed PP, it's almost a moot point with GPS.

I have bought parts from Discount Inboard Marine (www.skidim.com
). A great bunch in which to do business. Install a pitot tube on the outside and install the equalizer tube on the inside. Attach the two together with tubing, seal it off with silicone where it goes through the hull.
I cannot recommend the 5200. Takes way too long to cure and is there to stay. Silicone works well for me. Each to their own... $0.02
Why do you want three speedos? I'd be hesitant to add a third speedo if it meant altering the engine cover with a hole....
