These have been to classic boatworks. And he said the screws are hard to find. Anybody know a trick to fixing this? A star bit will get in there a little but its stripped bad. Also does anyone have a glass?

Im new here so if anyone can help please email me at [email protected]

post a picture if you can. What screws and what are you trying to fix?

that's too bad - that looks broken... need a donor speedo to fix that IMO... I would keep an eye out on ebay.

TRBenj was advertising speedo repair. he might have what you need or maybe trade with you.

We traded emails... I thought Dean had the lenses as well- he has them advertised on his website as being available. Unfortunately, I dont have any spares of the parts he needs... I'd have to cannibalize a working gauge for them, which doesnt make sense.

He only had one left just didnt work for me at the time

I remember seeing a thread where someone fabricated a lens not too long ago.
The screw is another story though.

You may be able to make a simple mold and use resin plastic kit to make a knob cast right on onto that stub... worth a shot -
