Yesterday I got the guild poles off and the fenders removed. It's a lot easier to just take the tire off before you try to remove the fender.

Going to try to clean up the fenders today and see what I have to work with.. Someone suggested soft scrub to get the black marks off from when the trailer tire shredded going down the hwy?

Any other products you suggest?

Where did you get the lights from? I need to upgrade mine this spring...

I got them off Ebay, This guy will set up a kit for your trailer, only paid $2 for shipping on everything. I just told him everything I wanted, he put it all together with a lil discount. Got the lights in 3 days. I haven't gotten them hooked up but when I do I'll post some pics!

Soft scrub should work, but you might also try "Bar Keepers Friend." It's a powder and very Comet/Ajax-esk (nice word, huh) and will be near them in the store (usually a Gold can with a Blue white lettered logo). Unlike Comet/Ajax it is virtually non-abrasive. I always have a can in my car-wash bucket of stuff. I use it on car windshields to metal bumpers on Classic vehicles. It's original use was as a metal polish to remove rust.

Works great for me.

Looking forward to seeing your progress. I'm going to work on my trailer this summer once I get my boat on the lift.

Interested to see the swing away conversion. I would love to add this to mine, could use the extra clearance in the garage.
