2008 x15 ballast pump

Can a jabsco pump be repaired. Currently just clicks

You can check out this thread. It has the disassemble and reassembly of the pump. We have found the part numbers for the seals but have yet to find the correct part number for the bearing.

Macker - Yes, most likely the pump can be repaired. Your timing on this question was kind of uncanny. I have just been setting up my website to sell the repair parts for the Jabsco pumps. I rebuilt my own a few months ago. I am actually a mechanical design engineer for a company that makes all types of servo motors. I have a lot of connections from my job, so I was able to track down the necessary parts. Click on the website link in my signature and let me know if you see what you need. I am still working on my website to add a few more parts. I can also help you if you have questions about taking the motor apart.

Nice website.

How much for the pump with a deutsche connector and no factory toggle switch? As you know when replacing a bad pump we don't need the switch and sub wires.

Hmmm unable to get to the site this morning. I have two pumps at home that need bearings and seal. Very interested to see pricing. Would love to rebuild them and possibly use one as a transfer pump for surfing.

CantRepeat - I asked Jabsco the exact same thing, as I was hoping to buy them cheaper without the rocker switch. But Jabsco only sells them as a kit with the rocker switch included.

bturner2 - I just checked my website and it is running fine for me from Internet Explorer. The lip seals are $9 each and the bearings are $10 each.

Just tried again and it came right up.

BTW: you are the only person/vendor that I've ever known to have the bearing. If it is the correct part this is great for everyone!

Yea, that bearing was extremely hard to find. It has an inch ID and metric OD. I have been working with electric motors for the past 12 years and that is only the second bearing with both metric and inch dimensions that I have ever came across.
