Reviving A 1993 Mastercraft

We had a customer with a 93 mastercraft that was mechanically sound and interior was in good shape but gelcoat was bad. He purchased the new mastercraft graphics kit and we stripped the old graphics, wet sanded, polished, protected and reapplied the graphics. We have a professional detail shop but if you need any help determining if it is something you can do yourself let me know or if in the area we can help. Looking forward to getting our Mastercraft this spring! Enjoy the video

Nice work. Any good pics to post to go along with the video?

We used a combo of 1000, 1,500 sandpaper and then compound with heavy pad then polish with medium pad and sealant with light pad all on a professional grade orbital buffer... If you are a do-it-yourself-er and have the equipment do a test spot to see how the final outcome looks before hitting the whole boat! The only pics I have are in the video but I will attach some from there as well as a couple other boats.

Great looking results. Where are you in Wolfeboro? I get up that way once in a while and will stop by this summer if possible.

We are in Clarke Plaza right down the street from Dunkin Donuts. I bought the Wolfeboro Carwash in 2008 and added the detail business shortly after that after going through the "Attention to Details" school with Renny Doyle. Top notch detail trainer in California. Stop by and see us at the Wolfeboro Carwash & Executive Detail at 35 Center St. Wolfeboro. Would love to chat boats!

Missed this reply until Dave revived the thread. I'll get in touch next time I'm up.

Great job!

We have the same color MC but ours is a '94 190.

When I buffed the boat this summer, I was able to get all the oxidation off and buff to a nice shine with glaze and then wax.

I think the part I missed was the sealer...what did you guys use? I watched the video but was not sure exactly what is was...i was not able to keep the deep luster that's why I am think the sealer or protectant was the key I missed. I will try it again once the weather gets warmer.
