A Coleman manual air mattress pump works great for flushing water from the heater/lines.

Yes, but if I'm going to hook up a pump to my heater circuit, I'd rather use it to pump some RV antifreeze through there rather than just air.

Exactly - I follow with antifreeze flush using the raw water strainer to load the antifreeze. The heater line water purge is just an extra safety measure that is easy using camping equipment I already have. :)

I agree. Blow out as much water as you can before adding antifreeze.
