Ilmor 5.7 - draining block and manifolds?

I am new to Ilmor. How do I drain the block and manifolds for winter? Pictures would be great.

If I'm not mistaken in the 5.7 you need to pull the knock sensors out (1 on each side of the block, will have a wire running to it)

If I am going to pull in the antifreeze through a fake a lake. do I put the drain plugs back in before doing so?

On my MCX I also disconnected all the hoses, overkill I am sure, to make sure no water was left in them before I sucked in the antifreeze.

I should do the same on the Ilmor correct?
