Monster MTK install

Hi,
I've recently purchased an 89' Prostar. Had a few teething problems but love it already. My question is, has anyone seen a Monster MTK installed on one of these. I'm planning on putting one on my boat. If anyone has any good or bad advice that can help me out that would be awesome. If anyone's interested i'll post pic of the install. I've already purchased the tower. The reason I went with this design is hopefully it foul on the Bimini.
Thanks in advance.

You will need to re-enforce the front mounting points with some steel plates under the bottom, up inside the bow.....

Unfortunately thats not the MTK tower. I have the original MT, similar to yours Razzy, and did not have to add any extra steel to the back sides. The Mounting brackets came with backing plates already and the glass is typically thick enough to handle the load. With the MTK I am sure MT provides direction on if extra plating should be used.

The MTK looks like this on that vintage of boat. Direct from the MT site.

if that's the correct mounting point for that tower it looks like it would interfere with getting wide on the buoy when you run the course especially when getting in to shorter line lengths

@Aussie MC, What's going on with your User name? Very similar, only a space different. Where abouts are you located?
