Looking at a 2006 X45

looking at a 2006 X45 ... Boat has 600 Hours 6.0 with closed loop cooling .. Yes YEOW 600.. trying to see what everyone else would pay.. Will post pics as soon as i get them.. Owner says it will need a buff.. AND 75% of the interior redone due to sun burn.. He says it runs great with no probs. This will be a project what would you pay ??

so would i be safe in the 26-28k range at that would any one consider a 600 hour boat

ummmm 26 for a 45?? that leaves for a good profit margin.
saw a 650 hour nautique 220 sell in less than a week at TX MC. if it appears to be well maintained and no actual salt use id consider it. closed loop is a plus since there is an ease of winterizing. would rather have a 600 hour boat that was babied than a 200 hour boat that was beat to hell

Did you buy this boat? How do you like the Crusader/ClosedLoop motor?

Even if you re-do the entire interior ($4000-$6000 depending on who) you could flip the boat for a profit. With 600 hours, I would want a cylinder leak down done and ask to see the service history from the start. Once you see the history and know how it was maintained, I would not be afraid of the hours.

Without some history, I would probably not consider it.
