Can this drain plug measure temp?

Hi guys

Does anyone know if this drain plug with harness measures temp? Or if it is a warning sensor. I would like to have the lake / water temp on the dash but don't want to drill holes.

If this measures temp then can it be attached to a gauge or must it be connected to a digital converter etc

Thanks!!

My plug assembly has a wire on it, but its for an alarm to tell me the boat is sinking if it isnt in. Dont know if thats the same as the link, but i didnt see anything about temp.

If you have Perfect Pass, you could just run the water temp sensor out the speedometer tubing hole on the transom for the speedo you no longer use. That's what I did. Air temp sensor just sits in the dash (out of direct sunlight).
