Trailer Bunks, Prop Guard Wheels, Grip Tape on Fenders

Hi Guys,

My 1997 PS 205 is looking great for my first outing this year, but sadly, my trailer is not! I wanted to spruce it up this year and am looking for some suggestions on:

1. New Trailer bunks - do I just replace them or install new carpet. Please suggest any good places to buy the bunks or carpet.

2. New grip tape on fenders - mine is flapping in the wind, with a great "trashy" look ;). Is there anywhere that sells replacements with the "MC" logo cut out?

3. Prop Guard Rollers - Since mine a 97, it doesn't have rollers. The ramp into my new pole shed is steep and I'd like to add them. Any suggestions on doing this (what to buy, how to install).

Thanks!

I did my bunks over the winter. I bought all new wood, carpet, SS staples, and SS hardware for the bunks. I got everything, including the carpet, at lowes. The old wood was in pretty bad shape, and I had to tear a lot of it up to get them off the trailer. Mine were bolted on with carriage bolts, so I have to chisel away a lot of the wood to get a wrench under the head of the bolts.

A lot of people say you should use monel staples and non pressure treated wood, but I went with pressure treated wood and stainless staples.

Thanks for the suggestions!

Dip your fenders and use diamond plate instead of cheap rubber.

TxsRiverRat, thanks for the help. I contacted these guys and they said they could make it, but not cut out the MC logo. Any other ideas? Thanks!
