Air compressor has a leak in the bottom near the wheels. Any ideas on how to fix? Thanks.

Funny ... Just had a rust through myself .. 12+ years and I probably emptied the tanks once or twice ... My fault

Mines over 43 yrs old. Was my dads. Craftsman 20 gallon tank. Thanks

Probably can get a new tank pretty cheap.

ha, I have a ~20+ Sears compressor that the compressor hand grenaded (piston/rod thru cylinder wall into garage floor, hellova racket when it happened as the elec motor kept spinning with the bits/pieces of rod slinging against remainder of cylinder without any back pressure) ... but the tank is in fine condition...

I've looked online cant find any tanks that are comparable. May have to retire it.

we should trade one direction or the other :D

May be cheaper just to bite the bullet since we are 2000 miles apart.

I think you say "43 years was a good run" and then go out and buy a new air compressor. Not worrying about an exploding tank has to be worth something.
