Potty Time!

OK, so what's everyone's protocol? I have a 2 yr old that is out of diapers and handling potty training very well. The lake is cold so we can't "dip" him in. We live on the lake but don't want to drive home every time he says he has to go.

This past weekend we had him stand on the side of the boat, and let it go... but what about #2 moments!?!?!

Thoughts and suggestions, thanks.

Well, I'm 50 but I still wont take a dump in the lake. Back to the launch for the public restrooms.

I would rather have red Gatorade and Cheetohs on board than a box full of crap.

I don't know where exactly, but they sell a small portable potty that you can put plastic bags in for the emergency potty break. I have a friend who kept one in her van for such emergencies while potty training and it worked great. You could look into that and then just tie up the bag and dispose of it when you come back in. If you do find one let me know. I will be jumping on the potty training bandwagon soon.
EDIT:

Here is a link for one I just googled. It folds up so it wouldn't take up much room! http://www.walmart.com/ip/Safety-1st...Green/20563936

i did not use that one, but i had a similar one for my kid for road trips in the car...

yes, poo sucks... its messy and stinky... nothing u can do about it. the alternative are pullups.

Of he is potty trained you gotta treat him like anyone else who has to make a poopy. Back to dock , into the woods or float it ( yuck )

I don't see much room for discussion, you're not going to let him poop in the lake, right? Pullups or a potty chair will work. When my kids (all girls) were little we carried a toddler potty chair with us, came in handy a few times.

After they're done pooping, just dump it in the water.

Please don't be dumping poopies on any of the lakes I frequent ! Especially a ski lake !!
