Trailer decals/cleaning boat decals?

5 Attachment(s)
The decal on top of the fender has come off and has left a whole bunch of residue. I was wondering how to get the residue off and where to get a new one. I put a picture of the one that is still intact. Also how can i get the rub marks of the decals on the boat? Much appreciated!

Is this Tex's boat?

WD-40 does a good job on adhesive residue, though you end up with an oily surface to clean afterwords.

Ive tried goof off but it makes it worse. Probably cause i was using a paper towel. I will try wd40. This isnt tex's boat.

Best results will be had with an old T-Shirt rather than paper towel.

3m compound wheel will do the trick. Used it on my boat to take the ugly x decal off. No residue and super quick.

I used a razor blade and wd40 and an old tshirt. Came out really clean, a few shavings of white but if you take your time and put forth some elbow grease, it'll look great. Then some rubbing alcohol before you reapply new grip tape.

do you know where you can get the mc grip tape?
