Using Shoremaster canopy on Shorestation lift?
Does anyone happen to know what would be involved in making a Shoremaster canopy (square legs) work with a Shorestation lift (round legs)? I know it would probably involve some fabrication... anyone else out there using a canopy and lift that are made by different manufacturers?

I prefer the Shoremaster canopy and found a used one for sale, but my lift isn't a direct fit

Duct tape? Maybe a zip-tie or two?

Really useful info, thanks.

I would start by getting 4 of the shorestation canopy posts that slide in your hoist. The one that slides into the winch will be shorter, assuming you have manual hoist. I may have pictures of these somewhere, pm me if you need, or get from dealer.

They provide a "pad" for the canopy to set on in the four corners. Once that is done, you need to measure and figure out what is next. Should not be too difficult, provided the canopy frame and hoist are the same width. It may set right on it you may need to fab up a new top for the posts. I think the cap is steel so you can weld to them.

Thanks Ben, that's great advice. I priced out SS canopy posts based on your suggest and I think they make this project cost prohibitive. If I were getting a smoking deal on the canopy, it might be worth it but...

Thanks for your suggestion.
