Mastercraft OEM 6.5 Cans - Great condition

Hi everyone,

Yes they have lights and yes they are in great shape!!!

Please read on, I don't want someone to buy these if they will not fit their tower ...

I am finally getting around to selling these from a purchase mistake I made last Winter. I have a 2008 tower and these cans will not fit that tower design with the pod mounts. I even used my dealer and MCBD to find an adapter for these cans and was not able to find one.

I did end up mounting some other 2007 series cans to my 2008 tower with an adapter but these cans I am selling were of no use to me. But these cans did not work for me and will not easily fit a 2008 tower with pods ... unless you are a welder or something. ;)

These a 6.5 inch speak type cans and as best as I can tell they fit a mid 2000's series tower that mounts directly to the round tube of the tower with a long bolt (included).

So here are some pics ... make me a reasonable offer. $400 plus shipping takes them right now.

Peace ... feel free to post questions ...

I have an '07 197TT with a ZFT Mini tower--this has two round tubes running across the boat with small, rectangular tubes that bridge them together. Do you know if these cans are a fit? If so, we can make a deal--thank you.

Hi, I am not sure.

These cans look like they are designed for mounting to the round tube of a tower. I believe a 2004 XStar for instance had some holes in the tube and the bolt that held the cans would actually come in from above through holes in the tube and out the bottom of the tower tube and into the can bracket.

So if your tower does not have those holes, you would need to drill, and u don't want you to drill unless we measure the curve in the can mounts to make sure it would work.

I like these smaller cans on a 197 ZFT or min tower I think they will look right sized but I am really not sure of the fitment.

If you want to send me the diameter of your tower tube, then I can mock up a mount on PVC pipe and send you the pic so we see if it shows any promise.
I want to make sure it would work for you prior to any purchase, after all I bet you have a sweet boat, love the 197tt

Thanks.

Got the PM, no worries, just send the diameter when you can. I am working this weekend so I probably cannot mock it up till early next week.

DoubleD thanks for the endorsement, but really worried about what it will cost me! :)
