Well I'm headed to Overland Park kansas Thursday through Saturday. Looking for something to do Thursday night and Friday night. Just me, want to go have a few drinks and enjoy the night life a little while I'm there

Well its supposed to be like 65* on Friday. Maybe I'll pull the old girl out and we can go get a set in ;)

I was up there a couple year ago and eat at at piano bar off knoll ave but last year I couldn't find the place or remember the name. Awesome steaks and waitresses

Not sure what piano bar you're referring to. There's a couple that are actual bars, but not restaurants. One is Ernie Biggs in Westport, and the other is Howl at the Moon in the downtown bar district. Both are fun, but if you're going out I'd choose Westport over downtown. Westport and The Plaza are where you should be if you want to have fun at the bar scene. I'm not sure what I'm up to this weekend yet, but there's generally a high probability that I make it to one of those two areas.

It might not have been a piano bar, just had a piano in the bar area of the restaurant. Was a lot of people having a good time! I'll have to check out those other 2 places you mentioned. I might try one of those Friday night as I figure Fridays are busier than Thursday

In westport check out:
Kelly's - chill irish bar
Dark Horse - also laid back
Firefly - also laid back
The Foundry - Bar/Restaraunt
The Union - crunchy beatz bar

Plaza you should go:
Gran Faloon - "college crowd" style bar
O'douds - Good irish bar
The Point ($10 all you can drink friday from like 7-10PM) this is like a block north of the plaza though.



Those would be my suggestions. I'm 29, and I thought I saw you mention you were younger in another thread. You won't run into a bunch of dads at all these places (sorry for the dads on here ;))
