X-25 Towers
 

There is a 2012 X-25 that I am looking at and it has the ZFT5P tower and I want to put on a ZFT4 tower. Is that possible? And if so where can I buy a ZFT4 tower?

I'd be willing to trade my 4 point tower on my '07 XStar for a ZFT5 or ZFT4 tower

why in the world would you want to do that? they've recalled all the ZFT5P towers and will convert them to hydraulic for you. the ZFT5P is quite a bit more expensive than the ZFT4... IMO they look a lot better too.

Snork - that would not be advisable.. they had to stiffen the hull quite a bit in the mounting areas to accommodate the two point towers... i would be worried what that would do to my boat (i happen to have an 07 star too)

and you dont like you ZFT3? i loooovvvveeee my tower. Still think its the best looking tower out there. (unless you count travis moye's '11 anodized green ZFT5P)

In my opinion, the ZFT4 towers just look better. Is it possible to get them switched out?

i'm not sure... but judging from the fact that a boat with the ZFT5P is worth more... you're going to spend money to reduce the value of your boat. :uglyhamme

have you actually seen a ZFT5P in real life? when they first came out i thought they were uuuuugglly. saw an X25 sitting on the trailer down at norris for the first time and fell in love, it might grow on you. :love:

if the ZFT5P is a dealbreaker... i would look at other boats. it just doesnt make sense

I'll trade you my ZFT4 for your power tower. Where are you located?

I have not bought the boat yet. The one I am looking at has the ZFT5P tower on it. I will let y'all know when I buy it and see if y'all still want to trade.
