Updating an 85
 

I picked up my re-upholstered seats today. Couldn't help setting them in the boat to see how they look. I took them pics from a guys boat he had done at Viper. I told them I really liked that interior, make it close. I'm really happy with the workmanship. Tomorrow I will install the new carpet and put it all back together.

I was thinking the same thing...but did not want to ask.....

It cost twice as much as I was planing on. There was a lot more wood work than I knew about. I only bought the boat this summer. Its the same paint scheme as the first MC I ever skied behind, so I am kinda reliving the past. Its an old boat I'm making how I want it. All said and done including the carpet, $4000. I paid for quality workmanship. I still have less than $10,000 in one of the best tow boats ever made.

tlukens, if you're on Facebook would you mind throwing these pictures on the MasterCraft project? It's a page dedicated to stars and stripes and restoring them. The people there would love to see these.

That's some of the best interior work that I've seen outside of a factory installation.

Also, I'd like to see some more pics of that Packer truck in the background. You're on Lake Wisconsin, right?
