Brendella Info
Hi Everybody,
My understanding (that could be wrong) is that Mike Brendel basically copied everything MC when he made Brendella & MB. So the question is then, what MC hull would this boat be comparable to? I'm looking for a ski boat first and a wake boat second, and it seems like this hull would be a bit big for me, unless, it is the same hull as the 92-95 prostar 205? Have any of you ever skied behind a brendella like this open bow? http://www.ksl.com/index.php?nid=218...arch=centurion |
Definitely not a PS205 there--no chines under the hull and too much bow drop in the front.
Almost looks like a Supra or Tige, but can't find an exact match. |
I have heard the rumor on numerous occasions that in the late 80s, MB was using something very close to, if not identical to, an 85 MC hull. I have also heard a rumor that the mid 90s MBs were using something very similar to, if not identical to, an early 90s Pro Star hull. I have never heard of any across the board duplication by Brendella or MB, however.

The rumor is the first Ski Brendella, shortline comp, was a splash of the 85 s&s. That model you are looking at is not .

That 97 in the link does not even have the spray tunnels on sides - it looks like an a copy of someones old hull technology...IMO

It's not a copy of anything, it is just a Brendella!
