Heater

My heater does not kick out warm air in my boat. I got a buddy with a x-25 and he said his only kicks out warm air when he is moving along and not toodling around. So last night I went around our local lake a couple times at 35 with the heater on, and still no heat. any ideas?

Is it blowing cold air? I can only assume you do have the fan switch on to make it blow warm air?

the air is just barley warm. not cold but should be way more warm.

I just have a switch to have heat on low or high

Not sure then. I was thinking, maybe you wasn't aware of the switch to turn it on?

I have a 2010 X2 and it blows very warm air when on.

Yes, that's the one I'm referring to that kicks the fan on.

is your air "more" warm when going faster?

I assume that you have the hot water tap open or you dont have one otherwise you would never get hot water to the heater core. Do a search on here for this one. It all has to do with where on your engine are you getting the water from. Some on here have moved the factory location for better hot water at idle. I think most of the discussion was around the LT1, but ICBW.

would their just be a switch in the line before the heater core?

I have a 2012 X-30 with the MV8 and my friend has a 2012 Moomba and the heater is much warmer on his boat then mine. He also has 2 pull out hoses while I only have 1.

If anyone has tips for improving the heat i'd also like to hear them.
